The multi-file upload idea first came about in Q2 2023, fell off the priority list, resurfaced briefly in early Q2 2024, then dropped back down the list again before finally being completed as a mock in Q4 2025. User research for this project involved talking to the users who would be uploading files — the Within3 Customer Support team — to learn how they currently used the single file upload, and what would make their jobs easier when uploading clients' files.
- Ability to upload multiple files or link at once
- Files can be different types and sizes
- Each file must be placed into an "unpublished" folder
- Ability to publish or unpublish multiple files at a time
- Ability to set up a visibility indicator for each or all files
- Scannable indicators showing the features for each file type
- Ability to duplicate, edit and delete files
- Showing the original file name
- Show each file neatly without creating eye fatigue
